We're looking for a Data Steward who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity. Someone who doesn't just spot inconsistencies but wants to understand why they happen and help prevent them from happening again.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of business and technology, making sure our critical business data is well defined, trusted and consistently used across the organisation. Your work will directly improve data quality, reduce operational and regulatory risks, and help teams make better decisions every day.

Make business-critical data accurate, trusted and easy to understand.
Create clarity by defining business terms, metadata and data standards used across the organisation.
Identify data quality issues, understand why they happen and help prevent them from happening again.
Work closely with business and technology teams to improve data quality and support better business decisions.
Evaluate the impact of data-related changes and proactively manage potential risks.
Help build a stronger Data Governance culture by improving how data is managed every day.
enjoy working with data and have experience in data analysis, data quality or data management.
feel confident using SQL to explore and analyse large datasets.
understand how data models, classifications, hierarchies and reference data fit together.
naturally spot inconsistencies, ask the right questions and enjoy finding the root causes behind data issues.
balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
take ownership of your work, manage priorities independently and proactively move things forward.
communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
have a relevant higher education and communicate fluently in English.
have worked in banking, finance or another regulated environment.
have experience with credit risk or regulatory reporting.
have previously worked as a Data Steward or in a Data Governance or Data Management role.
This role starts with a project-focused assignment but is designed to grow. You'll have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities and develop into a broader Data Stewardship role as our Data Governance capability continues to evolve.
Along the way, you'll work with experienced colleagues, modern tools, and have a real opportunity to influence how data is managed across the bank.
