As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for one of the most critical layers of our banking platform - the data infrastructure that powers services used by hundreds of thousands of customers across Europe.

• Ensure the reliability, performance and availability of our PostgreSQL environments

• Help build a scalable banking platform that supports our growth across nine European markets

• Partner with engineers and product teams to design solutions that perform reliably under real-world workloadsa

  uild and improve automation, observability and operational excellence across our database infrastructure and beyond

• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery readiness

• Contribute to daily work of system administration department in the Bank

You are a true expert in the team when you:

• Own and continuously improve our PostgreSQL ecosystem

• Identify bottlenecks before they become incidents

• Design solutions that improve scalability, resilience and operational efficiency

• Optimize database performance and support capacity planning decisions

• Establish and improve standards, procedures and best practices

• Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions

• Lead disaster recovery exercises and continuously improve platform resilience

• Keep infrastructure lifecycle management under control and proactively address technical debt

• Are fluent with Linux and command line is your daily tool

We would love to meet you if you have

• 3+ years of hands-on Database Administration experience in production environments

• Strong PostgreSQL administration experience

• Deep understanding of database architecture, replication, backup and recovery strategies

• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting complex production issues

• Understanding of high-availability and clustered database environments

• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset

• Professional English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with MySQL or MongoDB

• Experience with infrastructure automation

• Experience in highly regulated or high-availability environments

• Higher education in IT or a related field
